Mythology, or folklore is very common in medieval times. Mythology inculdes stories, such as the Pied Piper of Hamelin, and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Some stories in folklore have morals. Others feature a fictional storyline and, typically, a villain or villains, and a protagonist (usually a prince, princess, or commoner).
